So while playing GW2 doing the usual Halloween dailies, I was just carving a pumpkin (scattered throughout Lion's Arch and some other places) when I noticed some chatting players, one with an unusual red icon after their name. It was in fact a ArenaNet logo. This player turned out to be an artist, who mainly worked on back items, minis, weapons, props, gliders, etc including some animation work. It's neat enough meeting official GMs (which were quite active in PWI) but great to actually talk to an actual developer who helped made GW2 was a real gift. We were able to ask quite a few things about the game and her work, although nothing about future secrets.
I wasn't able to take any screenshots in the first encounter because something running in the background was causing the screenies to take ones of my desktop instead or whatever behind it, but fortunately after I fixed it I ran into them again in the same place much later. So here some of the images I captured:
