A new form of feedback (pun unintended) has been made for everyone to fill - this time an account is not required. Members don't need to log in or put in their name but doing so will have greater weight in the opinions provided after you confirmed it.
It'll run for as long as I see fit. In the mean time feel free to let me know how the next one can be improved.
Due to the potential abuse, I'd take the statistics lightly however it should help shed light to what needs to be done sooner and what's fine as is.
3 months later....let's look at the results so far. Not many have completed it though.
All 6 claim to be members....so all have joined. Easy to sum up.
4/6 rate the community as "excellent", 1 rated "good" and 1 "other". No arguments there.
4 rated the administration/moderation as bloody awful "excellent" and 2 rated "good".
5 said "yes" to FAQ, rules and guides covering enough, while 1 said "mostly".
4 said "yes" to being able to find what one's looking for easy enough, while 2 said "mostly". I have one idea of reorganising info and the website but of course it'll take a lot of work and I rather wait until we've updated to the latest forum software first.
4 preferred any new skin/theme to be dark with light text, while 2 said they don't really mind.
Most say they're already active enough as a member, while someone said they keep forgetting. I wonder if there would be more if it weren't for the ironic fact they forgot to check it and do this feedback form.
Everyone said "very", the highest, for rating our uptime and performance. Deploying "yay" smiley in 3, 2, 1....
When we had 5 results, every person picked differently picking all 5 options besides "other" when asked what they were looking forward to most. Yeah, frustrating. Then the 6th also picked "more active members and topics". Still, I feel pretty torn on what to focus on next.
When asked what they value the most, 4 picked "all of the above equally and more", 1 picked "a safe and friendly gaming community" and 1 picked "other" without even adding a comment. Picking "other" while providing no extra info means I can't really take it into consideration.
So there you have it. The FF will continue to accept input up until it's a year old or less if I make a new one, so feedback away.
